Done for a school project, I used my experience in Maya to model out a blocking scene. After that, I learnt how to use Substance Designer to create shaders for this environment. Lastly, I learnt to use Marmoset Toolbag to render and create a beautiful scene.
Not only is it meant to be aesthetically pleasing, the environment is meant to tell a story and invoke feelings within the player.

Process
After blocking out the environment, I started to block out the pillars and created a low-poly pillar, as well as a sculpted, high-poly pillar.
Then, I imported the pillar into substance painter where I baked the previous sculpted high-poly pillar, and added textures and details.

I proceeded to create shaders for the ground and brick wall in Substance Designer, where I learnt to use it for the first time.

Using Marmoset Toolbag 3, I learnt how to adjust the lighting and camera adjustments, as well as place the materials and shaders into the modelled scene.

After setting up the final touches, the lighting and the props, the targeted mood and feeling was just right what I wanted it to be.
Putting everything together presented a beautiful environment.
