I was tasked to create a post-apocalyptic environment, consisting of abandoned buildings, alien structures, as well as an interior of the protagonist's home.



Process
After creating a reference board, I used the method of kitbashing, which allowed me to use sourced assets into my blocking scene.
Then, I placed these assets and blocked it into my scene that I wanted.


Then, I moved onto to use the method of photobashing, where I used real life photographs as textures, which I plastered onto my scene, while carefully adjusting the perspective on the blocking scene.

As for the interior, I drew over the blocking scene in Photoshop, as well as using aiToon shader in Maya 2023 to create the linework as seen.

The vehicle was the final piece, which I modelled in Maya 2023 and drew linework over the rendered model.
The vehicle represents the protagonist's vehicle in the post-apocalyptic world.
